The Vision
We spend our days chasing the clock, always a step behind the city's pace. Ohana Woods was built as the deliberate answer to that — a house that does one thing above all else: gives time back.
Not luxury for its own sake, but reconnection. A sanctuary from the relentless pace of modern life. Here, architecture serves a single purpose: to suspend the moment and allow time to pass with intention.
01
A thatched roof. Charred timber. Glass that opens the house entirely to the forest. The architecture doesn't compete with nature — it dissolves into it.
02
Stone steps through moss. A pool that mirrors the canopy above. The garden is not a backdrop — it is the reason for the house.
03
From the kitchen, the pool and forest unfold in a single unbroken line. Glass disappears. Inside and outside become the same space — and the forest becomes the room.
04
A kitchen built for long meals. For conversations that stretch past dark. Materials chosen not for trend but for permanence — the kind that only improves with time and use.
05
Floor-to-ceiling glass brings the forest inside. A fireplace anchors the room. The furniture is chosen to disappear into the space — present, but never loud.
06
Sleep here is different. The quiet is complete. The light arrives gently, filtered through the canopy. A room that asks nothing of you.
Every room is designed to dissolve the boundary between inside and outside — between architecture and forest.

The people behind Ohana
Pernille and Martin are married — a family of four with two kids. Together they've built multiple businesses, and Ohana is their shared project: building aesthetically considered spaces that invite people to reconnect and slow time down. Ohana Woods is their first house.
Lasse's vision for Ohana Woods is simple: a house that knows exactly where it is. Every material decision, every sight line, every proportion is in quiet conversation with the forest it inhabits.
His architecture doesn't impose — it listens. The thatched roof, the charred timber, the walls of glass: each element chosen to dissolve the boundary between built and natural.
Brand partnerships
Ohana Woods is currently under construction. We are building a house that will be documented, photographed, and shared across editorial, social, and design media — reaching an audience at the intersection of architecture, travel, and considered living.
We work with a select number of premium brand partners whose products become a permanent, visible part of the house and its story.
